Major improvements to the skatepark at Romain Park in Fresno, California are complete. Formerly an ill-conceived hodge podge of prefabricated obstacles, this park now consists of a variety of street terrain with ledges, stairs, rails, and gaps of various sizes as well as quarterpipes on either side to help generate speed. The park was built by California Skateparks with help from the Street League Skateboarding Foundation and Fresno's Building Healthy Communities organization. Dubbed Fresno BHC Skatepark, the park celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, May 5th. Head over there and get a piece!
